Onboard a new client

Creates the client record and their login. Connect Buffer and Kit afterward, then flip publishing on when they're ready to go live.

Send the prep guide — optional

Email a prospective client a link to the onboarding prep guide so they can gather everything before onboarding.

Identity

The basics. Client ID is permanent and used everywhere — lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only.

Voice & content

How their content should sound. You can refine all of this later in settings.

Tone — optional, tap any that fit; layered onto the voice profile above
Never use — words/claims to avoid

Integrations

Optional — connect email and publishing. You can also add these later in settings. Publishing stays off until you enable it.

Email branding

Colors and an optional header image for their newsletter & promo emails. Pick the closest palette; fine-tune later in settings.

Schedule

When email content sends. Days: 1 = Monday … 7 = Sunday. Leave blank for defaults (newsletter Wed, promo Thu).

Client ID, business name, and login email are required.
